Cross-enrollment is a program for current Butte College students planning to transfer to CSU, Chico. This program allows student to enroll in one class at Chico State for FREE while still attending Butte. To be eligible for cross-enrollment a student must have completed:
Call the Transfer Counseling Center for more information and to schedule a Cross Enrollment application appointment. Students must sign up early in the beginning of the Fall semester for Spring participation. Sign up early, as space is limited. Deadline to apply for a Spring class is November 30. Deadline to apply for Fall class is May 1.
Comprehensive Student Education Plans—every student that is seen at the TCC will receive a Comprehensive Student Education Plan. The CSEP outlines all General Education and major-specific courses needed to meet the student's educational goal. Transferrable units are calculated, as is transferrable GPA. Thus, after receiving a CSEP a student will know exactly how quickly they can transfer to a 4-year university and which courses still need to be completed in order to do so. Normal Application filing period for Chico State is October 1 to November 30 to be accepted for Fall term. Chico State will review applications as soon as they are received
